A Photographer's Guide & Insider Venue Review

WEDDING AT GLASS HAUS VENUES

victoria / glass haus

Situated in Cremorne and Richmond, Glass Haus operates three distinct botanical spaces across inner-city Melbourne: Glass Haus Inside, Glass Haus Outside, and Glass Haus Bricks. Famous for their floor-to-ceiling indoor living foliage, industrial brickwork, and glasshouse ceilings, these spaces function as working plant nurseries by day and private event venues by night.

From my perspective as a wedding photographer, Glass Haus venues offer a uniquely organic, urban aesthetic. The sheer density of living plants means the styling is effectively built into the building itself. Having lush greenery, rich brick textures, and soft overhead glasshouse lighting all within a compact footprint allows us to take vibrant, editorial portraits without stepping away from your guests.

The venue

The Glass Haus venues sit right in the heart of Cremorne and Richmond, just 5 minutes east of the Melbourne CBD. As a Melbourne wedding photographer, I love shooting here because it gives couples a greenhouse aesthetic without driving out to the country. Located moments from Swan Street and Church Street, it offers effortless access to inner-city hotels, public transport, and endless options for late-night afterparties. View my wedding portfolio →.

The Verdict: Why It’s Worth It

ABOUT ME

I’m a wedding photographer based between Melbourne, Australia and Puglia, Italy, working across two of the most beautiful wedding seasons in the world.

During the Australian summer, you'll find me photographing weddings across Melbourne, wider Victoria, and throughout Australia. For me, the magic always comes down to a connection-first approach. I care way more about getting to know you as a real couple so you can feel completely comfortable letting your guard down around the camera. My goal is simply to blend into the background of your day, catch those unscripted, "in-between" moments, and give you a final gallery that actually captures how your wedding felt.

Nice to meet you, I'm Tim
